## v26.43.0 (19.10.2026)

This release includes a **breaking change** : it removes the backward-compatible fallbacks for the old `system_monitor` names. A setup that still uses the `orangeqs.juice.system_monitor` package, `system-monitor*.toml` configuration files, or a `system_monitor` variable in a custom `init_module` script stops working. Do the steps in the [Migrate from System Monitor to Fridge](https://docs.orangeqs.com/juice/core/v26.43.0/how-to/admin/fridge-migration.html) how-to guide before you upgrade.

### Fixes

- Fix service kernels being interrupted when they are shut down through Jupyter
- Make the JupyterHub stop timeout configurable, and warn when user servers survive a hub restart

### Deprecations

- **Breaking:** Remove the System Monitor backward-compatibility layer. Use the `fridge` names instead
