This release includes a breaking change: it removes the backward-compatible fallbacks for the old system_monitor names. A setup that still uses the orangeqs.juice.system_monitor package, system-monitor*.toml configuration files, or a system_monitor variable in a custom init_module script stops working. Do the steps in the Migrate from System Monitor to Fridge how-to guide before you upgrade.

  • Fix service kernels being interrupted when they are shut down through Jupyter
  • Make the JupyterHub stop timeout configurable, and warn when user servers survive a hub restart
